Protect Yourself from the Dangers of Texting

Don't Drive and Text

Your group should focus on the dangers of texting in general. Some suggestions are health hazards or driving. Brainstorm and come up with as many sub-topics as you can. You may find some in your research.


Prepare a survey to engage the students about there knowledge and experience about Texting, Cyberbullying and Sexting. You will be responsible for the questions on texting. The other groups will give you their questions on Cyberbullying and Sexting. Your group is responsible for the survey and graphing the results.The following websites should help you as well as the videos on the Introduction and Task pages. You should analyze the results of the survey in a graph that you add to your PowerPoint Presentation.

After researching Texting using the resource links above and videos below, create a PowerPoint presentation on Textomg complete with statistics, a short video that you can get from the resources, the dangers in detail, and solutions to help protect teens from these dangers. There is a PowerPoint Rubric that your teacher will give you as a checklist for the presentation.
