About Us

Janis Frielser

I am a former English and Computer teacher with a Masters Degree in Computer Science. I decided to get involved with  promoting authors and their books because I learned so much from helping my childhood friend, Trish Silver, author of When I Remember Love,  promote her book. We are primarily author’s virtual assistants, but we will help anyone who need our services.

For the past ten years, one of my former students, David Schultz, has helped me with technology problems that I had encountered in my business and my classroom. When he was in 8th and 9th grade he learned complicated computer languages so that he could help me with a project spotlighting my students work in a national education contest. He continued with the project even when he was no longer my student having moved to the high school. We won first prize over entries from over 200 schools nation wide.   See the Knowledge Loom for more information on the project.

David Schultz

I am proud to say that David is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and has taken over the website division of our company. He is now in the process of designing a state of the art website for Assisting Authors Online that not only will promote our services but also our clients and their books.  There will also be a lot of social media information to help all authors promote their book.  We have a blog to keep authors in the mix and a newsletter with marketing tips for authors.  You can sign up on our main page.
